thanks for the comment of appreciation! I havn't even looked into anything Cheonan for a long time but as it happens i'm in Korea now with the wife and kids. If you are about send me a mail mate, we can re live a few memories of glory days, down a few in what was zed rock and play a bit of pool in ID...
As for the negativity, don't let it bother you. It takes a hell of a lot for people to see past their own ignorant insular world to consider what impact they have on the lives of others.

Yes he did! I researched it just now, just edited it. He was such a one-hit wonder it's easy to forget him. So how was the red carpet treatment at the British Embassy? I'm sure everybody was impressed on the message board!!! "Private invitation only..." Did you get the BBC????!! I was invited to an exclusive screening at the White Swan public house in Winchester, my god, you could hear pin drops from a mile away after Ronaldo blasted the net. I can't tell though if your description of sheer bliss refers to your mate's armchair, the can of Stella or watching Lineker, Hansen and Shearer. Your mate's armchair I hope. England were dire on Saturday, watched it in Hollywood in Itaewon, the place was packed.
Enjoying the games here too. I'm nearly burnt out already and it's only 3 days old. They're gearing up for the first Korean game tomorrow night - big screens everywhere around Seoul, should be some atmosphere. There's plenty of World Cup hysteria here, makes you wonder what it was like 4 years ago.
